In a warm-up to Spring and the 2026 baseball season, the Grafton Historical Society hosted freelance historian Matthew J. Prigge. Matt took us on a fast paced tour of Opening Day in Milwaukee from 1970–2022 — packed with fun facts, oddball characters, game day heroes, and Hall of Fame legends.
Christmas Tree Program presented December 4,2025
Rochelle Pennington is an award-winning columnist and bestselling author. Her presentation to the Grafton Historical Society at its December 4, 2025 program was on ‘The Historic Christmas Tree Ship’. This ship was a 3 masted schooner that brought Christmas Trees from Wisconsin to Chicago in the early 1930’s.
Grafton Christmas Parade, Nov. 2025
The 2025 Grafton Holidays Christmas Parade carried the theme “Shaking up the Holidays in Grafton”. The Grafton Historical Society’s parade entry included a very seasonal ‘red pickup truck’ that featured life size posters of two famous Delta Blues artists and their music that was broadcasted to a ‘shaking it up’ crowd.
